Microblading or 3D eyebrows is a semi-permanent makeup technique using strokes to mimic hair within the existing or non-existing brow. The customized pigment is deposited into the epidermis using a fine blade to create hair strokes to enhance your eyebrows.
Amanda will analyze your current eyebrows, and together you will decide which microblading technique or techniques are best to create the perfect eyebrow shape for your face. The various techniques include: simulating hair strokes with a 3-dimensional effect, microblading, or creating a soft, powdery eyebrow effect.
Once you have approved your design, your color will be custom blended using the highest quality D&C and FD&C-certified approved pigments and dyes for cosmetic topical use. The superior pigment lines used, heals and stay and age truly to color.
Amanda is renown for her expert technique in creating realistic eyebrows. Anyone who desires fullness or definition to their eyebrows will benefit from her compassionate care and artistic individualized solutions to address their aesthetic concerns.
The eyebrow process begins with a prescription topical numbing cream. We apply to the area for approximately 15 minutes. Amanda will work with you to create the perfect eyebrow shape for your face. Once you have approved your design, your color will be custom blended using the highest quality D&C and FD&C certified approved pigments and dyes for cosmetic topical use. The superior pigment lines used, heals, stays and age truly to color. We apply the pigment using the latest in European acupuncture technology, or a blade. The entire process takes approximately 75 minutes.
A second session will be required 3-6 weeks after the initial session. At this session, we will fine-tune the color and/or shape. The color will fade/soften anywhere from 30% to 50% or more after each session. Healing is different for each individual and we do not have control over your body’s healing process. A color boost or touch-up will also be required every one to three years to maintain a fresh, natural appearance.

Includes Consultation, initial procedure & 4 week touch-up appointment
For the first Lavishibrows procedure, the entire session should take about 2 hours with enough time to assess each step of the way. The consultation is a part of your appointment. You will fill out the necessary client information sheet and consent forms. I will shape, style, and draw on your perfect brow and take photos followed by pigment selection. Once you have approved the look and color of your new brows we then begin with the procedure!
The pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. Some have described this as light cat scratches to not feeling anything. Prior to the LavishiBrows procedure, I will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area which will take approximately 20 minutes to take effect. Everyone responds differently to anesthetic; depending on the client and other factors such as menstrual cycles which can also affect the level of sensitivity. It is normal after the procedure for the client to have mild redness and slight swelling in the area and a feeling similar to a light sunburn. Clients can take Tylenol but NOT Aspirin or Ibuprofen.
The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and the color will appear very dark. Don’t be alarmed, this is completely normal for the procedure and all part of the healing process. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be even darker and you will notice slight scabbing. DO NOT PICK at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the Microbladed area. It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. True color will reveal itself once completely healed. The eyebrows will lighten up in color and can fade anywhere from 20% up to 40% as it heals which is normal. This is why you will return for your Perfecting Session in 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.
This semi-permanent procedure can last up to 2 years. All client’s results will vary depending on many factors including skin types; normal, dry, oil, and textured. It is very important that you follow all the post-procedure instructions for your eyebrows to ensure proper healing. Since Microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade over time. Semi-Permanent makeup is an ART, not science, and understands no guarantee can be made that the color will stay.
A client’s skincare routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment. Clients who suntan, who use corrective skin care products on or near the brow area containing, AHA, Glycolic Acids, Retinols, and Hydroquinone creams, will fade faster and their color will not last as long. Each individual’s color retention within the skin will vary. To maintain brows looking their best a touchup is suggested every 12-18 months. Clients can let the microbladed area fade over time, but please note a slight shadow may remain.
Clients who are not ideal for Microblading, Semi-Permanent Cosmetic Procedures are listed below:
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A LAVISHiBROWS PROCEDURE?
I will first explain in detail all the steps for this procedure and answer any questions you may have. I then take photos of your before look. Your brow hair grade and color will be analyzed, and the desired shape is drawn on with a special marking pencil. I will draw each strand to create a symmetrical, natural-looking brow that is custom made for your bone structure, giving you the chance to see how dramatically new brows change your face. Once you are satisfied with the shape and thickness, we consult on color and then mix and match with the hue to ensure I get a shade that is closest to your natural hair color. (I will note the formulation, for future touch-ups)
We apply a topical numbing cream that stays on for about 20 minutes. We use a special tool to make small hair-shaped incisions in the skin underneath the brow. This technique is Microblading. We fill the shallow cuts with the highest grade FDA approved pigment approved for cosmetic use. In addition, all my tools are single-use and discarded after each LavishiBrows procedure. I will also discuss aftercare, how long it takes the skin to heal and how to ensure the best results for your new brows!
